Renewable Energy Sales

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing team in an exciting developing sector. A well established UK based construction company have built their reputation in the sector by completing pioneering projects and now have plans to further expand there capability.

Our client develops Renewable energy solutions for both private and public sector clients. The core of the business is in Wind Energy but they also have capability and plans to expand further into Solar, Hydro power and CHP.

In this role you will use your in depth knowledge of the UK wind market and strong business development experience to take projects though from initial contact with clients through to negotiation and signing of terms. In addition you will:

• Utilise your knowledge of the wind market to deliver professional and persuasive presentations to board level clients
• Maintain a high level of awareness of the Wind Energy market providing insight commercial and business trends that will effect the business
• Contribute to the production of marketing literature
• Represent the company at conferences and events
• Provide the industry focused input into Business Development strategy

To be a success in this role you will have a sound knowledge of the UK wind energy sector, ideally with an in depth understanding of development, project finance and economics. In addition you will:

• Have a strong commercial awareness of market trends, and project costs
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be a strong team player with the drive and tenacity to close deals
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative and influence key people
• Have the experience of Wind project development (an advantage)
