More Boutiques In The Pipeline Confirms Oxfam

After the runaway success of three converted London stores Oxfam has confirmed plans to transform more of its shops into boutiques. The charity redesigned the Westbourne Grove, Chelsea and Chiswick High Road branches in May and June this year to encourage a new type of shopper and appeal to a wider audience. The shops were masterminded by Topshop's ex Brand Director Jane Shepherdson and sell donated designer items which are re tagged as 'Loved for Longer by Oxfam'.

The shops also stock green and fair trade collections from brands such as People Tree, Made with Love accessories created by Oxfam volunteers and specially made pieces provided by fashion graduates and up and coming designers each and every season.

Oxfam is keen to ensure it does not mean to change the brand but instead hopes to utilise an important market in its vintage/boutique stores. With twenty more such shops be to be converted over the next couple of years you too could be sporting the latest vintage look from an Oxfam near you.
