‘Another highly unusual quarter’
Amazon and Apple are going to be fine. But for local retail, Covid-19 is still in control of the narrative.
This is mostly supposed to be an article about my takeaways from this week’s tech earnings: Apple, Amazon, Facebook, and Google all reported quarterly results this past week, including nuggets about where things are and where they’re going.
But as we enter the second half of summer, I’m increasingly concerned about local business and retail, especially here in the US.
